WE ALL KNOW "WHAT WE HAVE TO DO" BUT HOW WE HAVE TO DO? IS NOT TOLD BY ANYONE, SO CAREERCHACHA IS HERE TO GIVE THE ANSWER OF YOUR "HOW?"

We all have gone through the phase where we have to make some choices at our academic level which is provided after 10th & 12th class by our education system which we mainly take by some assumptions or by getting influenced by some examples & also by peer pressure which later on results in regret & dissatisfaction.

As in 10th class the decision making of stream selection or subjects & later on the career selection which is followed by the the previous decision & is a result of it. So if the core decision of stream selection is not taken rightly then it will automatically affect the career selection decision also, Hence there comes a need of career counsellor who will understand you & will guide you in every prospect so that you can excel in a career which suits you & is not decided or imposed by parents or society.

Every stream has its own importance but when it comes to choosing of one stream as all the students have to do after 10th standard so careerchacha would suggest that it totally depends on students ability & interest, also to some extent it depends on the marks he/she scores in 10th standard. But as we all know that most of the students try to choose science as a career rather than choosing commerce or arts, due to  a myth made by the society that science is a evergreen, respected career with endless scope.

LET'S LOOK AT THESE STREAMS ONE BY ONE

1. COMMERCE:

Commerce stream consists of subjects like accountancy, business studies, management, economy etc, so if you are more interested in doing calculations dealing with people, have good convincing nature or management skill then you can definitely go for this stream.

2. SCIENCE:

Science stream consist of subjects like physics, chemistry, maths & biology also if you want to go for PCBM so basically if you like these subjects & want to learn more about surrounding & nature of the particles, also about environment & human anatomy or its existance so go for this stream.

3. ARTS:

Arts is a stream in which you will get to know about various historic moments occurred in the past, knowledge about the constitution, political nature of a country & also about the working of the government systems at every level so if you are more interested in politics & knowing abot the laws & want to be in civil services then this career will be more better choice for you.

"ENGINEERING AFTER 12TH CLASS"

First of all let us make it clear that engineering is only not a good option to go for after 12th class for PCM students as their are many other careers or courses which a student can opt for, Most of the students are not aware of these careers & courses as our society does not talk about theses courses but now the trend has changed in today's scenario there are a lot of good courses to opt for.

Coming to the question of "going for engineering after 12th from a private college"

It depends on your perception or mind set like for which reason you want to do the engineering ? like

  • Just for degree, job purpose or to set your life
  • For knowledge or if not selected in JEE

As coming to reality there is no such difference in academic curriculum in all private colleges also most of the Govt. colleges apart from IIT's or NIT's

have the same level of study pattern. As most of the colleges are following the same pattern of 90's & the ones who have updated their syllabus have not good quality teachers.

Most of the students from PCM or PCB streams are suggested or advised  to drop a year after 12th class for the preparation of competitive exams, But We don't suggest that all the students should drop a year after 12th as it also depends on students capability to crack the exam or his seriousness regarding that competitive exam.

In our society most of the students are sent to kota after 12th to prepare for competitive exams which is not good to some extent as they are not aware of the scenario or the exact guidance are not given to them before taking that decision later on which results in stress, dissatisfaction & sometimes suicide also.

Commmerce is one of the best stream, the students can go for after 10th class.
